Senior Executive, Quality Control & Compliance

Role Purpose
Managing security department quality control function to ensure that effective and continual improvement of security measure againts act of unlawful inteference is in place throughout the Company's operation and business. Manage company's security compliance by working with, and through operational and commercial teams to reduce security risk, delivering effective compliance

Key Accountability

• To develop and implement an effective audit program and its implementation to ensure that effective and continual improvement of security measure against act of unlawful interference is in in place throughout the Company's operation and business 
• Plan an annual security audit, inspection and test schedule and carry out audits on stations and STOLPORTS to ensure all activities carried out at all these stations are in compliance with MASwings (MW) standard and procedures and regulatory requirements 
• To follow-up and ensure that all findings and observations raised in the Corrective Action Report are acted upon and properly closed as per time line 
• During the absent of the Head of Security MASwings, he shall be the key presonnel responsible for the overall security operation and to make decision on behalf of the Head of Security 
• To co-ordinate with Head of Security MASwings for the development of new security procedure 

Qualification & Working Experience

• Degree in any field with 0-2 years working experience in Aviation Security Operation or 
• SPM/SPMV with 4 years working experience in Airline Operation

Skills & Knowledege

• Good knowledge in Quality Control Program such as security audit, inspection, survey and test 
• Well versed in security SOP, MW security program, National Civil Aviation Program,  Malaysia Civil Aviation Regulation, ICAO doca 8973 (Security Manual) and ICAO Annex 17 
• Capable to procedure MASwings Security Quality Control Program (MWSQCP) 
• Knowledge in CSIS reporting system 

Key Challenges

• Conducting security audit at STOL Ports where the security function handle by RELA
• Closure of security audit findings item related to 3rd party(MASB,RELA and GHA)
• High security threat at east coast of Sabah (KUD, LDU & TWU)
